Orders, Returns and Refunds Policy:

 

Our policies around returning or exchanging a product are designed to make your shopping experience at kodakexpresslevin.co.nz an enjoyable and hassle free experience, if you find we could improve on something please let us know.

 

As said by an old retailer for many years “ It’s the putting right that counts”. If you have a legitimate reason for returning a purchase or requesting a refund, inform us about it and we'll do everything in our power to put things right, with the least amount of disruption, in the shortest amount of time.

 

Our returns/refunds policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under New Zealand consumer protection or sale of goods laws.

 

Availability & Delivery

Orders are usually processed within 24 hours of receipt of payment, with all goods despatched to you by courier delivery, subject to stock availability.

Where the goods are in stock you should expect to receive your order within 1 to 3 days from order placement and payment. Where the goods are out of stock, you will usually receive your order within 3 to 14 days.

You will be notified of any items not expected to reach you within 14 days. You will be advised of an expected date of delivery and have the opportunity of leaving the item on back order, selecting another product or cancelling the item. We cannot accept liability for late receipt of goods due to delays from manufacturers or shipping companies, with all expected delivery dates given as a guide only. We reserve the right to cancel any back orders or to substitute products of a similar type.

Courier will deliver your goods. Your goods may be delivered by separate instalments. If there is no one at the address given to accept delivery of the goods, the carrier will place a card through your letterbox to inform you that they were unable to deliver your order.

You will become the owner of the goods you ordered and responsible for risk of loss of or damage to them once they have been delivered to you.

 

Returns:

You may wish to return a purchase due to:

1. Malfunction

2. Received damaged

3. Dissatisfaction

 

Malfunction:

If the item purchased does not function correctly on receipt, or fails within its warranty period*, please contact us immediately (by email or phone), quoting your invoice number and advising us of the nature of the problem.

If the goods carry a manufacturers warranty or you have an extended warranty on the product, then please advise us accordingly.

If the goods do not carry a manufacturers warranty, then they are warranted by us for sixty (60) days and we will organise the retrieval of the item at our cost and provided that the problem has not been caused by misuse or normal wear and tear - repair or replace (at our discretion) within 28 days from its return to us.

If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, we will credit the cost of the relevant purchase back to your credit card.

 

Damaged on receipt:

If the goods are received by you in an already damaged condition - please contact us immediately (by email or phone), quoting your invoice and advising us of the nature of the damage.

We will organise the retrieval of the item at our cost and will ship a replacement immediately upon receipt of the damaged goods, by us.

If for any reason the item cannot be replaced, we will immediately invite you to select a replacement item or credit the cost of the relevant purchase back to your credit card - at your discretion.

 

Dissatisfaction:

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, and providing that:

1. You notify us within 14 days of the date of confirmation of your purchase; and

2. the goods are returned to us in a saleable condition (an 'as new' condition including the original packaging and all enclosed materials such as manuals, guarantees, instructions, etc);

 

Then we will offer you the choice of either:

A credit of the purchase price (less our original shipping costs); OR

The exchange of the goods for another product from our website.

In the event that you choose an exchange product - and the value is less than the original purchase then we will credit the difference to your credit card, less the original shipping cost.

NOTE: This policy DOES NOT apply to DVD's, CD-ROMs, Software, or Books.

 

DVD's, CD's, Software, and Books

Please note that in the case of DVD's, CD-ROM's, Videos, Software and other products which are covered by copyright and intellectual property law our suppliers will not accept stock back because of the high level of illegal copying and piracy of intellectual property - so in general we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds on such products.

 

In Summary:

We will issue refunds (by passing a credit back to the credit card you used to make the purchase):

1. In the case of malfunctioning or damaged goods but at our discretion when we (or the manufacturer of the goods) chooses to repair or replace - and will not apply if the goods have been misused by you or if the malfunction or damage is ordinary wear and tear or if the goods are outside their warranty period (check the warranty card for details on the length of warranty coverage).

2. In the case of dissatisfaction with a purchase within a maximum of 214 days from order confirmation, subject to the goods being returned in saleable condition and with shipping costs being deducted from the refund by us.

We will email the address you provided (at the time of ordering) to either confirm that we've taken action - or to advise any action you need to take.
